Tech Article 12/1/11

Captive Media created a urinal mounted, urine-controlled games console for men. You don't use your hands and you the urinal uses infa-red technology to infer where you are peeing to determine the score.  The sensor unit is contactless and does not use a camera, another important design consideration.
Once they have finished their business, customers can use their mobile phones to post their scores to Twitter and a live leader board.
We are also installing units in ladies' toilets, to address the issue of long waiting times”

My weekend 11/14/11

Mostly I sat at home or went out with friends, but on Sunday I took part in a walk across the George Washington Bridge with the Girl Scouts.  We walked across the bridge for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting.  We walked across the GW bridge in symbolism of our bridging when we go from daises to brownies to juniors ect.  After the walk we had 2 dance classes 3 bouncy houses, a rock wall, and lunch.

When working on  the marking period project I realized what I didn't like about social networking sites.  This class also has thought me about google docs.  I use this in my English class with Ms.Hunter and in Science with Mrs. Graziano.
